Watermarking
Disclosure rules now require AI content to be detectable, so the marks are arriving on major platforms whether or not you ever notice them — and text you publish for your business can carry one.
Only the company that applied a mark can detect it, and a mark means the text was processed by AI, not written by it — heavy editing, translation, or an unmarked tool washes the signal out. 2026 research also found marks can shift model behavior under hostile prompting — the safety a vendor tested is not always the safety a user gets.
